Today’s session began by focussing on ‘Favourite Things’, but ultimately was continuing on the music theme as outlined in the session review on 25th April 2010.
Using the popular party ‘corners’ game the children were asked to show their preferred choice by going to one of 3 corners of the room that displayed the picture, or sign etc for each category. These included:
- Favourite Fruits
- Favourite Colours
- Favourite activity – e.g. singing, dancing, clapping
Now that they were in the swing of things, the 3 most popular songs were played from previous weeks in an attempt to find the groups overall favourite. The 3 ‘finalists’ were:

Faith Faith Faith
Creator God
And the winner was… Faith Faith Faith, although to be fair we could compare the result to the recent General Election – it certainly wasn’t a landslide !
